You will receive practical advice on how to develop emotional wellbeing across the school cohort. You will develop your skills in dealing with depression, anxiety and major life problems to help you raise pupils’ self-esteem and enable them to become more resilient individuals. You’ll also learn how to successfully incorporate wider curriculum themes like SEAL into PSHE & Citizenship, and use them to develop students’ emotional intelligence and ultimately impact on wider issues such as social cohesion.

There will also be the opportunity to learn how to develop an effective assessment model that will help you inform your SEF on PSHEE, Citizenship and pupil wellbeing. In a series of interactive workshops, you will learn about how assessment of wellbeing works in practice, as well as gaining innovative lesson ideas for teaching SRE, drugs education, economic wellbeing, careers guidance and various topics from the Citizenship curriculum.
