Now that the new PSHE & citizenship curriculum has been announced, it is vital that you know exactly what is expected from you.

PSHE is being split into two different areas. Personal, social and health education will now be comprised of a ‘personal wellbeing’ learning programme and ‘economic wellbeing and financial capability’ will make up the other half of PSHE. Citizenship education will now focus on the UK’s varying national, regional, religious and ethnic identities.

Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of students in your school is an immense undertaking, especially as the list of PSHE topics is constantly being updated and never seems to end. This year's PSHE & Citizenhsip conference, directed specifically at PSHE & citizenship co-ordinators, will provide you with the latest information on implementing PSHE & citizenship in your school in line with the Every Child Matters agenda.

If you are finding it difficult to find new ways to warn children about the importance of sexual health and the dangers of binge drinking and drug abuse, this year's PSHE & Citizenship conference is essential for you and your school. This event will provide you with new ideas for teaching your students in a way that they can relate to.
